The Ellen Taylor Foundation for Junior Shaggers is a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to financial assistance in the education, preservation, and promotion of the Shag, the state dance of South Carolina.

Individual or Group Support to Junior Shag Related Event Program – Subsidize the
cost for one or more individuals to attend Junior SOS or other Junior shag related events.
Support could consist of, but not be limited to, subsidizing the cost of lodging and food
while at the event, travel expenses, dance shoes, clothing, etc.

Junior Shag Workshops/Dances/Events Program – Provide financial support for Shag
Workshops/Dances/Events for Juniors.

School Programs – Provide funds to schools. This could include a Junior Shag Club
Start Up Package consisting of instructional materials and music for their libraries,
contact information for instructors, DJ’s and shag clubs in their area, sample by-laws,
shag lesson plans, links to related web-sites, etc.

Dance Shoes for Junior Shaggers – Collect donated, new or used, dance shoes and
distribute them to Junior Shaggers.
